Drive Medical Mobility Scooters
Drive Medical was founded in January 2000 in the USA and has since grown to become of the biggest suppliers of medical equipment in the world, with distribution channels throughout North, Central and South America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Products include mobility scooters, wheelchairs, walkers, beds and bath safety equipment.

Mobility scooters
There are three categories of mobility scooters available:
- The Travel series: These mobility scooters are small, lightweight and affordable. You can disassemble them in minutes and fit comfortably in the boot of most cars. The smaller size and lighter weight makes them easy to transport, but they are also slower and can’t travel as far as bigger models. They are best for shorter trips on even terrain.
- The Mid-Size series: These mobility scooters balance performance, size and comfort. Enhanced suspension provides a smooth ride. They come with comfortable seating and safety lighting. Larger batteries enable longer trips. As with the travel series, the range is not suitable for outdoor rough terrain. They don’t dissemble, so you need a vehicle lift or special rack to travel with your mobility scooter.
- The Executive Series: These mobility scooters are the largest in Drive Medical’s range, with big tyres, high ground clearance, long range and relative high speed. They work best outdoors on rugged terrain. The range comes with comfortable Captain’s seating and full suspension. However, they aren’t easy to transport, nor are they suitable for indoor use. As top-of-the-line mobility scooters, they’re also not cheap.
