To celebrate the launch of our first-ever TV advert, we’re giving away the mobility scooter from the advert plus 12 months’ insurance cover from Surewise.
The advert follows Annie, a mobility scooter user. We filmed on Vale Street in Bristol – recognised by Ordnance Survey as England’s steepest residential street – because it looked like what our customers describe to us.
Not a hill, exactly. Something in the way. The shop that feels too far. The visit you keep putting off. For most people, it isn’t the scooter that stops them – it’s the worry about what happens if it breaks down, gets damaged, or someone gets hurt.
That’s the part we take off your hands. And it’s the confidence we like to give our customers and that we’d like to give to one of you.

Open to UK residents aged 18 or over who have trouble walking because of an injury, physical disability or medical condition. One entry per person. The competition closes at 12 noon on Monday 14th September 2026. Full Terms and Conditions can be found below.
The Prize
The mobility scooter we’re giving away is worth around £3,000, plus a year’s worth of free insurance (including breakdown cover, key cover and puncture care).
It’s a Class 3 scooter, so it’s suited to longer journeys and can be used on the road at speeds of up to 8 mph. Originally black, it has been wrapped in Surewise brand colours especially for filming the TV advert, and it will be supplied to the winner in this condition.
Other features include:
- Up to 25 miles of range from its twin 50Ah batteries
- Fully adjustable all-round suspension
- 10-inch pneumatic tyres
- Compact, narrow frame with a tight turning circle
- LED lights and indicators, plus twin rear-view mirrors
- Front and rear bumpers and a built-in basket
- Robust build with a 25 stone (160 kg) maximum user weight
The prize is offered on condition that the winner agrees to take part in photography and to provide content for a case study, and to the publication of their name and photograph.
